Historical Company Timeline

A & A Contract Customs Brokers Ltd, a wholly owned Canadian company, was founded in 1979 by Graham and Candy Robins.

We have since grown with the ever-expanding international trade community. We now have offices in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Washington. Together with our strong network of reliable agents, we provide quality trade services coast to coast.

1979
· Our doors are opened for business

1981
· Introduce International Freight Forwarding Services
· We move into our newly built building

1984
· Our Huntingdon office is open for business

1986
· Our Aldergrove office is open for business

1991
· Our Blaine Freight Terminal is open for business

1992
· A & A distributes first edition of Economic Digest
· Our Toronto office is opened for business

1994
· Our Lacolle office is opened for business

1996
· As early adopters of the Internet, A & A is one of the first
  Customs Brokers with an Internet Website
· We open our Victoria office
· We open our Emerson office

1999
· First web cam shows traffic lineups at Pacific Highway

2002
· Digest completes 10 years of publication

2003
· Ottawa office is opened

2004
· A & A Celebrates 25 years of Service
· New website redesign is introduced

2005
· My BorderPro (formerly BorderPal) Launched.
The My BorderPro (formerly known as BorderPal) site demo is launched. My BorderPro is an online landed cost calculator that can estimate duties & taxes for shipments entering Canada. Try the site demo @ www.myborderpro.com.

· A & A Vehicle Team Established.
With a substantial increase in vehicle importations and exportations, A & A establishes a team of professionals dedicated to the clearances of vehicles increasing customer services levels in this area.

2006
· New Office Opens in Los Angeles, CA.
As your needs for U.S. bound Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage services have increased, we opened our Los Angeles, California office as a full service Freight Forwarder and U.S. Customs Broker. We are now located at the largest Maritime Container Port in the U.S.

2007
· Know before you Go!
One of our new websites, Borderlineups.com was revamped and introduced with an ad campaign on the radio – AM 730.
