Key Points Regarding the Agreement on Textile and Clothing

How Does this Affect Me as an Exporter or Importer
of Product to Canada?

Important Note: As of January 1, 2005 the requirement for an original Canadian quota export licence or certificate will be eliminated for goods that have exited the originating country after December 31, 2004 . This means that exporters or importers will no longer require an Export License from certain countries for clothing and textiles as long as the goods exit the country of origin after December 31, 2004 . If you have any questions relating to this requirement please email us at textiles@aacb.com
