A & A Racing

Our Racing Roots -

Our Founder, Graham Robins Sr., has had 1/4 Mile Drag Racing in his blood since the 1960's, when he would race his 1963 Pontiac at local B.C. drag strips with his wife Candy cheering him on from the sidelines.

When Graham and Candy started their family in the early 1970's, and then A & A Contract Customs Brokers Ltd. in 1979, drag racing was put on hold for a few years. Over the last decade, Graham Sr. has been slowly getting back into the drag racing scene by getting back into a 1963 Pontiac and steadily increasing the speed of it.

The beige 1963 Pontiac that you see to the right, Graham Sr.'s original race car, has since been sold to his son, Graham Robins Jr., President of A & A. With a strong desire to get back to his drag racing roots, Graham Sr. purchased a 1963 Pontiac "Project Car" off of a relative of one of A & A's current employees, and has once again burned rubber at Mission Raceway.  This is the blue car you see to the right.

TestandTune.com - A Place for Automotive Enthusiasts -

While Graham Sr. was busy drag racing and keeping track of his times, speed and racing conditions, the vision for a driver / racer orientated website was born.  The TestandTune.com website initially started out as a place to record your 1/4 mile times and to assist drivers with keeping track of their statistics.  While this feature is still available today, we have since added race track webcams at Mission Raceway Park to bring more viewers and spectators to the local track.  With over three thousand registered users, TestandTune.com continues to be a popular destination for drag racing enthusiasts.

A & A's Jr. Dragster Sponsorship -

At the end of the 2004 Drag Racing season, Graham Sr. began chatting with Ray Bollinger, a local racer and respected family man.  Ray's 12 year old daughter, Amanda, demonstrated a keen interest in racing a Jr. Dragster - a half-scale dragster for kids ages 8-17.   Shortly thereafter, Graham Sr. and Ray sealed the deal with a handshake, and fearless Amanda Bollinger was storming down the local 1/4 mile racetracks in an A & A / TestandTune.com branded Jr. Dragster.

Inspired by her big sister's racing skills, Amanda's younger sister, Kaelyn got the itch a year and a half after Amanda's debut.   A & A / TestandTune.com was proud to add Kaelyn to the Jr. Dragster team. This makes for some great sibling rivalry racing!

The A & A Racing Team -

With Amanda and Kaelyn racing their Jr. Dragsters, and their father Ray racing his Killer Kustoms Camaro - the team travels from race to race in the A & A / TestandTune.com hauler.  This tractor trailer combination can be seen at the right.

In 2008, Amanda turned 16 and is now able to drive a full size car. Amanda has transitioned into the driver role once occupied by Graham Sr., and she is now the lead driver of the A & A 1963 Pontiac "Project Car."
