If you are doing B13A’s for Exporting from Canada, there is a new process.

What you need to know:

  • After June 30, 2020, paper B13A’s will expire
  • If you are doing your own B13A’s, you need to register on the new platform

Or, ensure your Freight Forwarder is aware of the changes.

Do you actually have to do anything right now?:
MAYBE

If you do your own B13A’s, yes, you need to register.
If your freight forwarder or customs broker does your B13A’s, you may not need to do anything, as they will do it for you.

On June 30, 2020, you will no longer be able to submit paper B13A’s. You must also start to submit monthly Summary Reporting Program (SRP) reports.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline for registering is now September 30, 2020.
