What is ISF?

ISF acronym meaning – Import Security Filing, manifest data required filing 24 hours prior to export from origin country via ocean transportation mode.

Manifest data requirements:

  • Ocean House bill of lading number
  • Manufacturer name and address
  • Shipper name and address
  • Consignee name and address
  • Container Stuffing location name and address
  • Consolidator name and address
  • Ship too name and address
  • Country of origin
  • Classification
  • Vessel name and voyage #
  • Port of Export at origin
  • Port of Entry into US
